In the 80s, the Comsat Angels received legal threats from the Comsat Corp of America warning of dire consequences if they toured under that name. So, they chose the name “Headhunters” and played a solitary gig at the Take 2 club in Attercliffe, Sheffield, on 25/10/88. Here’s a Take 2 flyer from the time. We would very much like to hear from *anyone* who has photos or other media from this gig…
From his workshop on London Road, Pete Hartley probably repaired more equipment from Sheffield musos than anyone else. His knowledge of valve amps was second to none. He even launched a range of amps “Hartley Thompson” back in the 70s. Few people knew he actually had a website! Pete died in December 2014 and his typically Sheffield approach to life will be greatly missed.

Rockwells was, I believe the pub better known as the Beehive. From 83 or so? Recognise any of these bands?
Live at the Broadfield mid 70s. Chris Easton on bass.
