Now demolished, this underground venue was on West Street just down the hill from the Saddle pub and ran from 78-91. Countless bands, both famous and unknown played there over the years and it was a regular haunt for many music lovers. It was owned and ran by George Webster and Kevan Johnson. Paul Unwin was a long-term DJ there. The floor was uniquely “sticky” and the toilets were a joke, but it was the place to be.

Local author Neil Anderson has written  a book about the venue.
