From his workshop on London Road, Pete Hartley probably repaired more equipment from Sheffield musos than anyone else. His knowledge of valve amps was second to none. He even launched a range of amps “Hartley Thompson” back in the 70s. Few people knew he actually had a website!
Pete died in December 2014 and his typically Sheffield approach to life will be greatly missed.
