Alex Wilson writes: “I’m a film/TVarchive person based in Sheffield. I’ve also worked in and around record labels and shops for years. In recent months I’ve booted up a label of my own, Memory Dance, and have just released for pre-order our first edition.
It’s a never before released set of tracks made in Sheffield in the 80s by The Leisure Foundation – a wild brew of synth-pop, dub, disco, and post-punk restored and remastered from original tapes.”
The music features several “names”:
Janet Chan – Vocals
Dave Clayton – Keyboards and song-writing
Jeremy ‘Jeb’ Holyrod – Drums and song-writing
Lloyd Richards – Guitar (Heart of The City)
Elana Harris – Vocals
Pete Hill – The Instigator
