A small independent musical instrument shop in Sheffield during the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s. It was located on Sharrow Lane, having moved from premises on Sharrow Vale Road. The shop dealt in new and mainly second-hand instruments.
The owner smoked like a chimney and like to talk a lot. I must’ve knocked years off my life in that shop. And even worse he smoked horrible smelling fags and the whole shop stunk to high heaven because of it. It was a very unpleasant atmosphere and anything you bought would continue to stink when you got it home.
